Our Foil Transfer process produces a metallic mirror shine effect popularized by the fashion retail industry. This effect can be applied to the entire image or selected design elements. Foil transfers are created by combining a printed adhesive and a heat-transferred foil leaf. Foil can also be a great way to emphasize your multi-color design. Due to the manufacturing process, we prefer the use of discharge or water base ink for multi color design combined with Foil. Only one foil color can be used per imprint location.
Foil Transfers work best with solid, bold graphic areas such as text or logos and cannot be used for halftone images or graphics with fine detail. To make the most of your foil prints we strongly recommend washing these garments inside-out in cold water and hang to dry.
